This year the Tangocamps really went in crescendo. Greece was the warmest, the fanciest and the most fun of them all. Of course, the fact that it was the last one made everyone feel like there was some fun to be made!

This year the Tangocamps really went in crescendo. Greece was the warmest, the fanciest and the most fun of them all. Of course, the fact that it was the last one made everyone feel like there was some fun to be made!

Here are some pictures I took of the maestros’ performances at Tangocamp Greece. You can get a slideshow of all pictures by clicking on one of the small pictures underneath.
Marcelo Gutiérrez & Sigrid van Tilbeurgh
Mazen Kiwan & Maria Filali

Tangocamp doesn’t do sissy milongas: they start around 10PM and go on until the birds start singing again. That’s easily 6 to 8 hours of dancing each night, and the floor only get less crowded around 3AM. Here are some pictures of participants.
The first two nights of Tangocamp Greece, Sexteto Milonguero gave us a some pretty energetic performances. Traditional tango with a real rock & roll feel, and with an excellent singer that made dozens of women feel weak in the knees.
The beach party was quite something. These are some of the more innocent pictures, the others can be seen by those who were there. Just friend me on Facebook, and I’ll send you the link! While you’re at it, don’t you want to become a fan of Tango Paparazzo too?
