I had heard a lot of good things about the Hamburg marathon, so I went with high expectations. I was not disappointed: the level of dancers was very high and I had a great time taking pictures.

Leiden (NL) has a very special outdoor milonga called ‘de Waterlelie’ and this year they celebrated their 5th anniversary. The organizers, Mirjam and Peter, also invited me to come and take pictures, which I gladly did.
I like going to Sweden, so when I had the opportunity to shoot some pictures at the Tango 59° festival in Stockholm, I didn’t hesitate. I stayed with a friend near the city (thx, Michel!) and went to dance in the afternoon milongas at Stallet and the evening salons at Nalen. Most pictures here are taken during a 30-minute span at Nalen.
This year the Tangocamps really went in crescendo. Greece was the warmest, the fanciest and the most fun of them all. Of course, the fact that it was the last one made everyone feel like there was some fun to be made!

Koninginnedag in the Netherlands (April 30) is a funny day for non-Dutch people. You walk around Amsterdam and you see orange everywhere. Clothing, food, balloons, … It really is a day of pure party. And to make it totally memorable, the people from Academia de Tango had invited DJ Mala from Belgium and Sexteto Milonguero from Argentina, currently on a European tour.
